N E C P V Annual Membership Meeting  and  Education Day 

Sunday September 30, 2018                          11:00 am til 3:00 pm

Education:  Marlene Schlichtig, will be our guide for this event.  Rally fun match.  Prizes, ribbons. Dogs must be well behaved, have some knowledge of basic commands, and be on leash.  Please join us for our annual meeting, we need your support.

Directions:  From Beltway:  Exit 17A to Route 202S towards Upper Marlboro.  Approx. 7 Miles take Left onto Brock Road.  Go to end, turn Right onto Willoughby. House is on Left.

 

From Route 301:  Turn West onto Route 725 ( from the North turn Right, From the South turn Left)  Cross RR tracks and turn right onto largo Road.  (Rt 202)  At the light, right onto Eton Road, go to end and Right onto Willoughby.  House in on the left.

Ruth Haverstock Ness

Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother Ruth Ness passed from this life peacefully on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at age 95

She was married to Bob Kiracofe Ness for 70 years, whom she met at Lebanon Valley Collage, Pennsylvania. She earned her Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from Ohio State University.After staying home to raise her children, she taught Organic Chemistry at George Washington University, and was a research chemist at Informatics in Rockville, Maryland.Ruth and Bob raised their family in Kensington, Maryland.Ruth was a devoted member of warner Memorial Presbyterian Church for 64 years where she served in many capacities.Besides being active in her children’s lives, she joined her husband in rescuing, showing and breeding Norwegian Elkhounds. And was an active member of the Norwegian Elkhound Club of the Potomac Valley.She and Bob retired to Riderwood Village in Silver Spring, Maryland in 2003. In 2013, they moved from Riverwood Village to live with their daughter, Carol in Littleton, Colorado. After Bob’s passing she moved with Carol to Las Cruces, New Mexico, where she stayed at the Haciendas at Grace Village. She resided there until her passing.Ruth is survived by her three children: Carol, Bill and David; her children-in-law: Bobrick and April; and her three grandchildren: Michael. Kyle and Cody. The family is grateful for the pouring of love and support that they have received,
